Glasgow Prestwick Airport manages air traffic services for all airspace up to 6,000 feet and 42 nautical miles of the airport – handling 22,924 flights each year.
The CIEHF Scottish Regional Group has organised a visit to National Air Traffic Services (NATS) at Prestwick on Thursday 23rd March 2017 from 18:00 to 20:00. It will be hosted by Sean Cleary, Senior Human Factors Specialist.
The visit will provide an overview of NATS and the Prestwick operation, with an opportunity to view the operations room and have a closer look at the equipment using the demo stations and a prototyping facility called SPACE.
The airport has direct motorway access to the M77 / M8 / M74 and M90. The airport also benefits from access to its own railway station, which sits on the Ayrshire Coast Line.
Places are limited for this event and bookings will close early for security reasons so don’t wait, sign up now.
