Welcome to the events website of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors. We aim to organise and run several events throughout the year and throughout the UK that give attendees the chance to meet others, to learn and to be inspired.

Thoroughly enjoyed the NATS visit, thank you for arranging it all. It was very useful both in terms of learning about NATS work and their approach to it from an HF perspective and meeting the other Institute members and discussing our work.  I felt quite inspired afterwards – an effect which has carried through this morning, much to my managers joy!

First of all, thanks for the opportunity to visit the factory. It’s visits like this that make a real difference in understanding the economy that sustains us, the application of socio-technical expertise, and how we can improve our discipline. It really is important to understand not just the theory and the tools, but to gain a grasp of the nous of the discipline. You did an excellent job on that visit – you were impressive. Truly. Keep up the good work, and please, more visits.
